Not unto us, Lord, not unto us, But unto You be the glory.
Non nobis domine, non nobis, Sed nomini tuo da gloriam.
Not unto us, Lord, not unto us, But unto You be the glory.

I used to sing that in high school.
Lu, with regard to the debate about women in the ministry taking place on Marty’s site, I just finished reading a book entitled “Why Not Women?” by Loren Cunningham and David Hamilton. It is a great discussion of the Greek and the context of the passages. I would recommend it. I’m not sure if I follow it fully, but it contains arguments I had never heard before.
