Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Mo…

…which one should I buy…

heck if I know!

I am in love with this one.

But this one’s also very much grown on me.

However, with the price of gas, this one and this one in particular (one of my very favorites!) are the best ideas I’ve seen.

And yet…. my insurance on the Acura is twice what I’m paying now, and the Civic isn’t much lower. Surprisingly, the lowest 6-mo premium winner so far goes to the Element. Wow. Never expected that from an SUV-wannabe.

I’m still in love with the Dodge Caliber though. But everyone, and I do mean everyone, I know is telling me to steer clear of Dodge. They say the engine just isn’t up to snuff.

Hmmm…. what to do, what to do…

wish I knew.

I really do.

(perhaps in the meantime, I could pick up some extra cash as  poet… wha’cha think? Cool1 )

  1. You don’t know me but I have to echo the Dodge warning…Chrysler transmissions are NOT dependable….every one we’ve had has had problems…but dang they make CUTE cars but my husband swears NEVER AGAIN so just to let you know and maybe too many voices saying the same thing…??

  2. We just went through this very process before Christmas and we too were looking at a Chrysler made car. We were warned to steer clear as well, and were very shocked at the sales or should I say LACK of sales. They basically talked us out of buying a car from them. Who knew? My vote is with the Element.

  3. hondas and toyotas are great cars. i have to say though that i don’t like the boxy shape of the element, but if you like it get it =). i just saw one of those FJ cruisers on the road the other day and thought – sweet, what kind of car is that? so i’m kinda sold on looking into one myself. good luck on your hunt, wish i was there to help ya… muah!

  4. Wow! Thanks for all the great advice. I’m still checking on the Dodges… just that stubborn streak in me I guess. But I doubt I’ll actually get it. I just want to test drive it and see how it feels before I let go of the dream….. sigh….
I’m also looking at several other cars, but I’ll tell you about that in a new post.

  5. Yeah, the Civic still holds a GREAT appeal. The gas mileage just call to me!
But a Red Dodge… ah, the realization of a long-held dream. Actually, the dream was for a red Dodge was really about a red Dodge Ram or Durango. But I’ll settle for the Caliber. It gets MUCH better gas mileage. šŸ™‚
